He played Paranoid onstage at Villa Park with the Foo's tonight.

When he came on I thought 'he must be loving this'. Chuffed for him.

Absolutely must be top of the bucket list for him.

Does anyone know if there was a mention of us?

The Sangwell supporting bloke I drink with, who thinks I drag every conversation back to The Villa, was in corporate there last night and it would be delicious to point out that world does indeed revolve around Aston Villa!

Works for me, maybe it's because of your location?

No sadly not, I hoped Geeze might have shouted Up the Villa at the end of his bit, but no.

No, but I'm not surprised. Grohl doesn't give a shit about football, so I doubt he'd want to piss anyone off.

The whole song:

Surprised it's his first time playing Villa Park.

Obviously good for me that I could watch this, but it is literally a sea of mobile phones.

As for Villa Park, I have been surprised it hasn't been used a lot over the years. The only things I can remember were Billy Graham, Bruce Springsteen, Take That, and the Foo Fighters. I know the Joeys rented it once or twice and I also think one year there was also a scramble bike course made on the pitch.

I think there's been one of two boxing tournaments held there but not too sure.  Dave W would confirm.  Danny McAlinden?

McAlinden fought there and the ring collapsed. Barry White, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi.
