He was the voice of the BBC at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
As he's resigned he won't be covering major national events like when William becomes King.

Cheers Footy, didn't realise he'd now officially left the BBC. 👍

So this means he won't be covering the King's funeral. They should get someone with a suitable timbre in for that job like Joe Pasquale or Freddy 'Parrot Face' Davies.

Yet you talk about Garry Crooks is being talked about in the Ollie Watkins thread.
There is a link in both circumstances it's exactly same.

Lets get Kevin Bacon in on the thread, then. He is but 6 degrees away.

Prince William goes through ALL the emotions - including roaring with delight - as he watches Aston Villa's clash with Olympiacos on daughter Charlotte's birthday!

He cut a nervous but focused figure pre-match and was seen pursing his lips while ominously waiting for the game to get underway.

The heir to the throne then pumped his fist in a release of celebratory emotion after thinking Leon Bailey had given the hosts the lead before his goal was disallowed for a foul.

William largely remained on his feet during the build-up to proceedings getting started before later taking his seat and matching the anxious faces of the majority of home fans in attendance.

Source report Daily Mail.

He pumped his fist in a release, but then realised we had been pegged back.

The dirty devil.

I put this in the match thread by mistake so I’m moving it here

we bumped into Domhnall Gleeson at Brighton in the que for the train to the ground
No one else recognised him and in fairness he didn’t want to be but was a sound fella when we had a little chat

my kids were the ones that spotted him and I asked for a picture which he was happy to do with little fuss
Here they all are
