Listening to Italian talking about our Keinan Davis, who is apparently excellent at penalties.

He’s had a good season, hasn’t he?

First season he’s hit double figures.

Wonder if he'll get a move to a bigger club.

James Bree has signed a contract extension at Southampton. Still only 28. Always think it's nice when a player finds the club and level that is just right for them and where they can enjoy a solid career

Good for him; he hardly got a chance here under Bruce, who actually signed him.

Bring him home, final piece in the jigsaw.

Orjan Nyland, playing in goal for Norway a the World Cup, just made a great save in the 96th minute from an Ivory Coast free-kick to prevent extra time.  Next up, playing in the last 16 of the World Cup against Brazil.  Wouldn't have said that was on the cards when his contract with us was cancelled in 2020...

It was a very good save and a vital one, too.

We knew he had great performances in his locker, they just didn’t come out often enough.

Maybe he found the pressure of the Prem too much?
He must be doing okay at Seville

He was really good for them for half a season or so when he first got into the team. Lost his place though and doesn't really play much now.

Always felt like Nyland's main problem was a lack of confidence. Unfortunately GK is the position where you need to have incredible mental fortitude.

Nyland's performance in the home leg of the Leicester semi in 2020 was up there with the best.  They were few and far between though.

Nyland - was a pretty good shot stopper it was all the other bits that let him down.

I never got that turn of phrase when it comes to keepers, they should all be good shot stoppers if they've made it as a professional, that should be a gimme. It's all the other things that sort the great from the guff.
