Zenit St. Petersburg announced Thursday that Jhon Duran, who joined on loan from Al-Nassr in February, is taking indefinite leave due to personal circumstances. The 22-year-old scored only one goal in six Russian Premier League games, a sharp drop from his 20 goals in 78 appearances at Aston Villa. Fans lament his post-Villa path—marked by a €77 million move to Saudi Arabia, loans to Fenerbahce and Zenit, injuries, red cards, and mental struggles—questioning if his raw talent can find stability across six clubs in three years.

Heading back to Colombia on a leave of absence agreed by both parties by all accounts. I wish him well.

The one goal was a penalty I believe. I know when I checked last month on TransferMkt he had two goals in different competitions and both were pens.

With each day that passes, that deal is matures like a fine wine.

It's like we juiced the very last dregs of goals out of him, before pulling WHAM!s pants down for £15m.

He's scored 6 league goals since leaving us, I still remember some insisting him and Archer were better than Watkins.

One person probably still would.

Ings has the touch and positioning you'd imagine. I've watched him a few times at Sheffield United and he's done ok, when he's fit. The one game where he absolutely ran his socks off was brilliant, just what you'd want (and similar pressing to Watkins) saw him not make another appearance for about 8 games...

He's just not fit enough to do anything other than make 10 minute cameos when a team is desperately hoofing the ball into the box.

Como qualify for the Champions League by finishing fourth in Serie A, giving Diego Carlos another go at it.

Isn't he only on loan there or has he signed permanently with the qualification?
