Former Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland was attended to by paramedics after appearing to suffer a horror injury during a match for Wythenshawe Vets. The cup final against South Liverpool veterans had to be halted following a tackle inside half-an-hour which saw an ambulance entering the field of play.

Footage has emerged on social media of Ireland on the receiving end of a robust tackle before being left in a heap. The video includes audio where a sickening snap can be heard with players on both sides left stunned, some with their heads in hands.

The way Tim has started to play for Everton makes me feel that keeping him and Barrenechea would have solved our CMF problem. Both have been regular starters for their club, and Tim had had some EPL experience before he became a makeweight in the Onana deal. Frustrating to me, and Everton are certainly looking to have had the better of that deal.

I randomly thought of Amavi earlier so looked to see what he's up to. Not long turned 32 and is without a club and has barely played for years. Shame as I thought he looked pretty good before the injury. Which scarily was over a decade ago.

That Udinese sponsor(s) on the not inconsiderable abs and torso of Davis, exceeds it's character limit by at least twenty.

Top bins. You can't fault it. The post match celebrations were as good if not better.
