The parallel universe Villa strike partnership of Nicolo Zaniolo and Keinan Davis started up front together for Udinese against Cagliari.

1-1, their centre-back got the goal.

Just a matter of time before Zaniolo gets that worldie, I can feel it.

Philogene scored an absolute scorcher in the East Anglia derby for Ipswitch.

A beauty wasn’t it.

A lot of positive chat about Enzo going down a storm with Benfica. Apparently he's only a couple of games away from his loan move triggering a perm. We might have undercooked the fee...

Maybe, but I suspect it's because Emery decided he preferred Bogarde and there wasn't space in the squad for both.

This pining for a player we don't need and many of us have never seen is weird. If we underachieve this season, it almost certainly won't be because we only have seven central midfielders in the squad.

Sell him, and spend the cash on a position of need.

It just seems a shame to get rid of a player who obviously has something about him when he has hardly kicked a ball for us, especially for so little.

If it's true, under the UEFA rules it would mean we raised more money this year... Which in turn may mean the Elliott fee becoming payable wouldn't be as much of a problem...
