Longlegs scoring a lateish equaliser for Atletico Madrid as they went on to beat some fourth tier rabble.

I know the site in question is bollocks...but still ...

Celtic could look to sign Chelsea's 21-year-old English forward Carney Chukwuemeka on loan in January. (Football Insider)

What sort of wages is he on? Would Celtic want to make some Chelsea youth player their highest paid player?

Reported at the time about £120K week as I recall.

Ta. You'd imagine Chelsea would have to pay a fair chunk of that, wherever he goes.

Well done, Andre.

Far too many injuries in his career.

Scanning a few Serie A results:

Pepe Reina is somehow still playing every match, kept a clean sheet for Como as they beat Roma. He was 37 when he played for us five seasons ago.

Zaniolo scored a minute after coming off the bench for Atalanta, they won 1-0 and are now top of the league.

Keinan Davis is presumably injured again as he was nowhere to be seen for Udinese.

Freddie Guilbert seems to be having a nice time playing every week for Lecce, they beat Monza.

Gollini is now Genoa's reserve keeper.

Blimey , I’d forgotten all about Freddie Guilbert and not because he was a bad player.

Was it a screamer?

It wasn't. Bit like that one he got for us against Zrinjski Mostar (I think it was them)

Conor Hourihane has announced his retirement. Not the most talented but always gave 100%

He scored some great goals when we really needed them. Hope he has a good retirement, he's working with our kids, isn't he?

Edit: no, he's becoming Barnsley assistant head coach. Good luck to him/them.

An excuse to dig this out. The noise in the Holte a fraction of a second after the ball hit the net was deafening.
