I saw Alan Wright playing for Cheltenham a couple of years ago. Not sure if he is still there though.
He must be quite old?

He's 50 now, and the post you've quoted is over 11 years old! And it was 4 years before that that he signed for Cheltenham.

Apart from that though....could be him...

Tammy Abraham is the first Englishman to reach double figures in goals in Italy since David Platt in 91/92

Blimey...how many British strikers have played there in the last 30 years though, the insular, dumb, selfish bastards ?

I think Ravel Morrison was at Lazio briefly but don't think he was an out and out striker. Nomadic talent, hardly even an out and out footballer.

Ian Rush played out there and said it was like being in a foreign country.

Question for the Villa trivia types, with De Laet, Engels and Samatta all playing regularly for Royal Antwerp this season, what's the most ex-Villa all playing at the same time elsewhere?

Ideally foreign, but more than three at once domestically would be decent too.

Good spot. I wonder are they best pals.

Ayew and Benteke at Palace to be joined in the summer by El Ghazi ?

Ayew, Benteke and Cahill last season is enough to equal my Antwerp three at least...

Another trio - Hogan, Gardner and Sarkic at the rabble down the road.
