Elliot Parish, Shorey, Marlon F Harewood, all playing for Bristol City tonight, not Williams though.

And they even made Marlon captain

Think back to your reaction when you found out that we'd signed him.

George Boateng wants to manage Villa:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2301509/The-Footballers-Football-Column--George-Boateng-Steve-McClaren-best-manager-I-played-under.html

"...When I finish playing, my dream managerial job would be Aston Villa.
They have the training ground, the fan base, great stadium.
And I love the ground – it’s so big, if you’ve got good players, they’ll make it work.
I hated going to smaller grounds like Bradford and Portsmouth.
You want to play passing football but you can’t, people are constantly in your face.
There’s no space.

Noticed a lack of comment about JM in the match thread. Anonymous or not playing?

I'd say Luna marked him out of the game. So much so he was swapped to the other wing where he did bugger all against Bacuna as well. But we all know he's not a winger so what do you expect....

Oh how I wish we still had Milner, in central midfield. He's such a talented CM being absolutely wasted out wide.

Gareth Barry tonight becomes the tenth player to play 500 Premier League games.

Decent achievement.

It certainly is and I was interested in Martinez comments that he hopes barry will be with everton for a few years to come - certainly deserves praise for his achievement and  I wish him well .

Great professional. Not many players become a 1st team regular in the PL from the age of 17.
