Actually, maybe a good challenge would be... what's the lowest division we can find a former Villa player in?

Can anyone beat Stefan Moore of St Neots Town in the United Counties League?

How about a player's brother? Charisma Agbonlahor plays for Aston in the Midland Combination division two - step eight of the pyramid.

I’m sure I heard it mentioned that he turned out a few times for Castle Vale Jaguars in the Sutton Premier division last season.

A lot of players playing in leagues like the Midland Combination and the West Midlands League also turn out for Sunday league clubs, I've known some who will play for a Birmingham AFA club on Saturday morning as well.

Give me boots - quite fancy turning out for a sunday morning, after the hoovering.  Would like to play in the hole behind the striker, please.

I wonder what the African Pele is up to these days. He liked the LC games against lower league clubs.

Remember reading this interesting piece anout him a couple of years ago.http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/feb/03/africannationscup2008.africannationscup1

I myself am wondering what's happened to the Togolese Zidane, not my words but the words of that Gobshite Adebayor. Oh, and Curcic? where's he these days?

I was chatting to some Serbs about football while on holiday in Montenegro. It seems Curcic is now bankrupt. Their consensus seemed to be that he is quite mad.

Lee Hendrie's little brother plays Sunday football round here.  I played against him in a cup game a couple of years ago.

Can't remember to be sure but that sounds about right.  He was a lot less gobby than his brother though!

Ever heard of a player called Geoff Samuels? Was on the books here as a youngster, ended up playing for Cheltenham and Gloucester. Is now a college tutor at Evesham. Once at a college assignment we compared ourselves to a proffesional player, he, as an example compared himself to John Terry (while he was England captain) and he worked out he was better!! He was quite scary when he lost the plot aswell!

Olympiakos first match yester they lost to marseille jean makoun came on second half attacking play was okie but no end product from greeks.

Think makoun will get several opportunities in midfield and possibley used differently to role at short time here at villa...

Some mellberg guy there too remember him
