it is great to hear you and "the drum" and it is great that it is being used to accompany the chants rather than being banged all the time through the game !

I like what Brazil does with drums (and Lincoln City years ago). When the team starts building up to attack the beat gets louder and faster.

Also lads, a lot of people are ''presuming'' where we are moving, also a lot of them people are wrong, very wrong. So if you do want to move with Brigada, don't take the chance of believing what a few are saying and just wait untill monday. UTV VTWD.

It brings to mind the school bell ringer at Maine Road.

They'd probably ban her now.
It seems light years away. How would she fit in now? The only common thread is they still have plenty of cheats in the side.

The old social club, the corner of the Kippax, then the Platt Lane which was very empty with about 200 in there, looking out over all those alleys and terraces.

Sorry for picking up on this so late, I've not been on here much recently.

Ahh, those were the days. I always enjoyed going to Maine Road, although it sometimes felt a tad dodgy as you slipped down one of those ginnels (thanks, Percy) after a game.  And I don't think I ever saw us win there.

Why not just announce it now considering a lot of folks are renewing and some might want to join you?

We have members who arent able to sort out their seats till Monday am, as soon as this is done then we will announce, that's why we made this announcement so people didn't book up in L1.

I heard a rumour you are moving to P8.  Can't seem the point of that.  Surely the Hollte is where you need to be.  No matter how hard you try, you won't get the people in the likes of the middle Witton Lane or Trinity to join in.  It's the Holte End where our vocal support is.  Of course the lower Noth Stand as well.

It is purely a rumour about P8 it would make no sense whatsoever moving there. Looks like someone Villatalk made it up beyond me why someone would do that.

That's where I picked it up from and thought it made no sense.  The Holte end is where it's at!

I think the Lower Witton Lane would be a good place. Could make it their own and I don't think that too many poeple would claim that they are a Witton Laner  (or Doug Elliser) in the same way you'd take ownership of your place in the ground as a Holte ender, North Stand (er), or Trinity Rd (er). If you see what I mean.

Bottom, not top, and make the stand your own. Too much history in the other 3 sides and not a great deal in the Witton Lane.

Not a bad shout that, especially if they could get as near to the away fans as possible and drown them out.

Only thing about the lower Witton is that there's zero tv coverage.

More chance of them being heard on TV though. Look how loud the away support sounds on TV, even when it's Wigan.

They're upstairs and closer to a roof. Acoustics, acoustics, acoustics.

Standing up isn't really going to be tolerated anywhere but the last rows of the Holte and Lower north. I'll head back to L block.

They should come and join us in the Upper Trinity (obv, when i say "us", I mean "the people I currently sit near", as I won't be renewing next season, right comrades? *clenches fist*)
