Sorry to upset you Dave Cooper, i thought you were allowed to express your own opinion on here. Seems to me i was wrong.Maybe i should pretend like you that everything is just perfect at the club i love and have been watching for just over 50 years.

Worked it last night and my summary is as follows:

12 hour day and was knackered by the end of it
48,565 was the official attendance
Not a fan of the music (although have to be honest an say some of the tracks are decent) but had to be the most spectacular set i have ever seen

It felt like it was a RW show and take that were there - he is a very good entertainer, even if you do not like his music

The organisation, presentation, and overall image by everyone i spoke to said the club and its employees did them proud.
Spoke to a few people who had been to other shows on this tour and they said that the atmosphere was the best

Now the not so good

I have worked at the club for 26 years and during that time seen riots, violence and all sorts
Give me aggressive male football fans over pissed up women any day of the week

An absolute nightmare - imagine having a job of telling 50+ years old women to put their saggy tits away - there was spew everywhere, women having a piss in the gents and the language off what you would expect to be middle class mothers was shocking even for me.

As much as it was hard work it has not only made millions for the club but also raised its profile again and i am sure that we will get big events here again as the acoustics was fantastic and VP really is a good settinhg for a concert - even if the transport infrastructure was not up to it

Surely not millions ? Do the club just hire out the facilities to the concert promoters for a fixed rate or do they organise the tickets sales and payment of the group etc too ? By my calculations if its 2 nights totalling 90,000 plus, the club would be having to clear £11 per head for each million made.

Exactly the same thing happened when they played at the Ricoh Arena a couple of years ago.

I dont know this for sure but i would imagine the club have a cut of almost everything but the official merchandise - its not like Take That have their own food and drink outlets as the majority of what was open was the normal football kiosks with some extras thrown in (apart from the prices that were what you would expect nowadays from the likes of Wembley / NEC / NIA). when you look at the prices of tickets / food  / drink etc £11 per head is easily achievable

Paid for hospitality in the Sky Lounge last night as it was our anniversary. Didn't know what to expect buy they know how to put on a show. Without Robbie it wouldn't have been as entertaining, he had the crowd in his hands and made a big fuss about being back in the Midlands. He even broke out into Red Red Wine at one point. Enjoyed the free bar and the food was excellent. My understanding is that Take That get all the gate receipts except the hospitality packages. The staff were fantastic even the ones watching the gig over out shoulders on the balcony. I think it proved that VP can match anywhere for big stadium gigs.

Who said everything was perfect?
We have a gazillion threads discussing how shit everything is at Villa Park at the moment, why do you and many others feel the need to bring the same arguments into every other one? Do you think that we don't read the other threads where you have stated your viewpoint on how everything is shit or something?

Can not speak for the many others you mention but i tell it as it is. If we do something good i will applaud it and say so. At the moment my club dont seem to be getting much right .What is the point of this forum if someone is scared to make a comment because it might upset you. I will ask you a question, what gives you the right to be sarcastic to me just because i said something that annoyed you.

What't the point of a forum if you can't be sarcastic and why shouldn't someone respond if you've annoyed them?

As for your point that the club can't seem to get anything right that is just your opinion.  Have you considered that the club might be thinking everything is going just right at the moment?
