Lerner would look ridiculous if he didn't appoint mcleish now , it would look like the fans run the club.

I'd prefer to see it as he's come to his senses, listened to the supporters, the paying customers, and realised what an absolutely arse-wipingly bad appointment it is.

Lerner would indeed look a bit daft, and that's because they've painted themselves into a corner.

I'd rather he looked a bit daft now than incredibly daft come next May, mind.

I find it strange we put out thst statement last night, we never put any statements out last time about interviews and I would imagine Lerner has spoken to mcleish before last night and must be pretty sure it's a done deal.

If not why cause such uproar when he could have interviewed him with nobody knowing?
I'd expect confirmation could come tonight or tomorrow but cannot see it being anyone else after all this hassle.

The press have been right all along why would they be wrong now ?

Er... because actually they've been wrong all along?

Don't forget the last bit: "You're useless".

He'd get a lot of respect off the fans if he did pull the plug on the deal, but it's not going to happen by the sound of it.

It's gonna be very pricey to sign AM then sack him and sign another.

I am praying if he is our manager we are the ones looking daft next May, but I don't think we will be.

Impressive protest. On that picture, there's a bloke at the back with a placard that reads, simply, "No." He can use that again and again. On the back it probably says: "Down with this sort of thing."
