What's with the guy saying he will put all his villa stuff in a black bag and burn it- ridiculous!
All it needs now is for McLeish to be appointed and say he's bigger than Jesus Christ.

He is he's 6ft 2ins. !

Mcleish is not the new Lennon.

Apparently 14,000 signed the petition. Where are they?

If Doug was there, he'd have opened up the Holte Suite.

I didn't like the guy who climbed to the top of the gates and beckoned people on -it seems the rest backed away and left him to it- ugly!

About 500 or so there now. I think that's a decent turnout. But not sure where this leaves us. We either appoint Mcleish amidst an extremely difficult environment, or the board return to the drawing board and God knows who would be next hope.

You'd hope Hughes, but I suspect bridges are burned there. I really have no idea where we'd go if Mcleish was the lead candidate. Ray Wilkins? Ranieri?

That's actually me.

I said I'll jump off the top of the Holte End. I think jumping off the top is just a bit too daunting now.

Lerner would look ridiculous if he didn't appoint mcleish now , it would look like the fans run the club.

I find it strange we put out thst statement last night, we never put any statements out last time about interviews and I would imagine Lerner has spoken to mcleish before last night and must be pretty sure it's a done deal.

If not why cause such uproar when he could have interviewed him with nobody knowing?
I'd expect confirmation could come tonight or tomorrow but cannot see it being anyone else after all this hassle.

I just hope Hughes isn't already on his way to Chelsea. Sadly Chelsea have not appointed anyone yet either so he might be.

He will look more ridiculous if he does appoint him to be honest, however I agree that it looks pretty much a done deal. The press have been right all along why would they be wrong now ?
