Appoint him and it is nigh on impossible to deny the club is going backward. It is just staggering to think he is even an option.

I can't even begun to see how they think it is a good idea. Some on here have slaughtered the board for a while, and I've  been staunchly behind them, but that would be it for me, it would be the confirmation that the niggling suspicions of the last year or so were well founded.

Providing the money is great, but running a football club is about much more than that. Money alone is not enough. Over the last few years I thought they were trying to make us the new Ajax, money plus sensible management and ambition.

Make this appointment and we look like the new Newcastle.

I think I would be sick for a week.  I have contently listened to noses moaning about how boring his football has been since he took the job there.  Hope it doesn't happen.  I would prefer if Ellis was given the job.

Just because it doesn't fit your opinion does not make it wrong. I voted 'yes' and I am no Blue Nose.
There may  be more than one 'good idea', by the way. There are two or three managers that I would be happy with but they all deserve a chance if appointed.

I agree.  I knew that thre would be a lot of Villains who wouldn't like it but have been shocked by the reaction, particularly on H&V.  I'm no expert on him but his playing and managerial career seem to have been successful on the whole.  Sure he sent them lot down twice but first time around wasn't his fault and he had to deal with two sets of difficult owners.  FFS he secured them some silverwear for the first time in their history!

I think he could be a good manager at a big club like ours but our fans wouldn't give him a chance and thats why Randy won't apoint him.
