All the best, Brad.

A very good and capable keeper never let us down, unlike some keepers in the past!

Right decision by the board, can't be offering 2 year deals to 40 yr olds!

Top pro and good servant to the club. Can understand us not offering him more than more year and equally his decision to join another club on a two-year one. We can now move on to a younger keeper and we could do worse than recruit him from Blackburn again.

A great goalkeeper, real top class talent - all the best Brad.

We all knew this was coming but I'm just surprised he's gone to another premier league club where he will probably start.

all the best Brad,  but I found it irritating that he never came off his line for more crosses into the box.

Fair play Brad, you've given us 3 good years.

Good luck at Spurs and whatever you do after football.

Cant say i am  to upset to see him leave as i think his age is begining to catch up with him. Wish him all the best though,he has been a good servant to the Villa. Next season we might even get to see Villa save a penalty now he has gone.

Best of luck to him. Imo he was the best keeper we had since Bossie. That may not say too much given some of them, but in O Neills last two seasons he was brilliant. I think the reflexes and agility are just dwindling now. He's had his day. He'd be a great back up, but I don't think he wants to be number 2 here, whereas he'd be happier playing that role at a more successful club, which sadly right now, Spurs are. He may even be their first choice, who knows.

Cheers Brad and good luck.

At least now we may get a keeper who can save penalties.

I think Brad has gone to spurs for more money, he would have had loads of takers next year, so contract length isn't really the issue in my opinion.

But fair play I like Brad and wish him well.

As many have said, he served the Villa well and 2 years more would have been silly. He was starting to stay on his line and he didn't save many penalties if I remember right but he was great at shot stopping. Thanks for the last 3 years Big Brad, I loved his reaction at Everton when Young scored the injury time winner.

Also, there's been plenty of rumours that we're in for a new keeper, with or without a manager,so he may feel his time maybe up at Villa. Shame we never signed him years earlier.

Really surprised that a club like Spurs have come in for him. Like MON, they both seem a lot more highly-rated when they're not at your club. Paul Robinson, the keeper we should have bought in the summer of 2003 next please.
