It only feels like yesterday we were singing "cheer up Alex Mcleish, oh what can it mean......."  at the end of season disco in the Social.  Oh how we laughed.

I've just had one of those 'Thanks for the £2m' texts', I've told them we'll knock it off what we are still owed for half our reserve team that got them relegated.

2 million compensation. Feck me. Fools and their money.

So, say 3 for Houllier and another 2 now to swap him for McLeish.

No wonder we're in such financial shit with wizardry like that.

Fucking idiots.

One things for sure, surely they must know that they need a belting pre season in the transfer market to start the pacifying process...first job, keep Downing...

Owners, managers and players come and go. The fans don't.
The reason why we scream bile is because we love our club and we can see it's being fukt about!

Clean slate for me and I wish him the very best of luck

Have seen far worse things down the Villa over the years

He is one brave boy I have to say (though no doubt a very well remunerated one too) given the background to all this and the need to almost completely reinvent the team - I just hope both he and Randy are now super motivated to prove most of us wrong. I know I would be in his position

He's duped Lerner, money is what its about, think about it, if you wanted to earn a quick few million in the shortest possible time in terms of severance.

He's got every reason in the world to fall flat on his face and scream the situation was impossible and walk with a pocket full, nothing whatsoever to do with bravery.

Look on the bright side. Villa managers don't last too long.
