Watching the soaps paulie, just flicked across for the adverts, but I will be glad when it's all over and I can get back to cricket.

Villa agree £2m to blues in compensation.

Thats it Randolph will double your rate on your MBNA's, with extra interest from god knows where, and you'll never be able to work out in a million years how they get that.

At least you'll be able to console yourselves it helped pay for McLease.

The 2m will sweeten them and allow McLeish to pick the bones of his old squad.

Any one think the £2m is something to do with the fact we may want a couple of players from them. Therefore we needed to get back on decent terms with them?

Just back from a couple of hours in The White Horse fully expecting this thread to be finished.
What a pleasant surprise it hasn't happened.
So looking for reasons why there's no official announcement......
1. Ancelotti really didn't fancy a year long holiday.
2. Rafa changed his mind.
3. Moyes has finally resigned.
4. Randy has come down off what ever drug he's been taking.
5. A concerned Villa Fan assassinated McLeish before he could sign.

That might be the worst "cheer up, it could be worse" type post of all time.

2 million is 2 million too much. At least it wasn't 5 million. Just think what we could have saved getting a manager that was out of work.

Foster and Dann would improve our squad - no matter what team they're coming from.

Randy and Alex are having a love in, Randolph has to be gay, and he must like it dead rough.

So that £2m is basically Villa saying we don't want a long drawn out legal battle and Small Heath knowing deep down they would lose anyway.
