I see Small Heath have signed somebody without a manager today. Sees to back up what McLiesh had been saying regarding his targets not being purchased and the hair dresser picking his own.

2 million is 2 million too much. At least it wasn't 5 million. Just think what we could have saved getting a manager that was out of work.

2 Million ?

Foster and Dann would improve our squad - no matter what team they're coming from.
Agreed, but it ain't gonna be easy to pry them away to join a club that's looking for mid table finishes at best....other clubs will be after them too

Any one think the £2m is something to do with the fact we may want a couple of players from them. Therefore we needed to get back on decent terms with them?

Great. Not content with getting their shite manager we then go back and poach half the squad that got them relegated. Have to hand it to Randy, thats a masterplan no-one else would have thought of.

What a absolute farce. £2m for a relegated manager that nobody wants? Sorry, Randy, but you've completely lost the plot along with any faith I had in you.

Just because we've appointed McLeish doesn't mean we're looking for mid table finishes. I'm feeling the need to stay off Villa related forums. The whole anti-McLeish, anti-Randy, anti-Villa stuff is getting to me.

No, but with that useless fuck in charge, it'd be a relief.

Clean slate for me and I wish him the very best of luck

Have seen far worse things down the Villa over the years

He is one brave boy I have to say (though no doubt a very well remunerated one too) given the background to all this and the need to almost completely reinvent the team - I just hope both he and Randy are now super motivated to prove most of us wrong. I know I would be in his position

Right, fuck it, it's done and dusted. Now lets get down to some decent transfer speculation shall..

Hope he's a roaring success now which will show he wasn't a shit manager, he was just at a shit club. That would piss them lot off and soon stop the "thanks for the £2 million" texts i've been getting...(why don't i feel entirely confident though I wonder?)

Nobody on here is anti-Villa. I'm openly anti-McLeish-for-Villa purely for his below average record. I wouldn't say I'm anti-Randy but my faith in him has gone for the time being.

An APPALLING appointment not only from a footballing point of view but from a business perspective as well. I really don't understand it at all.

Is it still safe to say we still have only rumour, speculation and the media to go on?
Think I'm just going to keep posting this until it happens.
Not sure I can keep this up.

Apart from the fans returning season tickets, refusing to go again, bagging up all their Villa gear.. apart from all those people no one is anti-Villa.
