If McCleish is willing to step into the fire, it shows what kind of strength he possesses. I will continue my support for the club regardless.

A very good point indeed.  He's showing massive bottle moving to us.
shame he has no leadership qualities.

Maybe they are prepared to go against the fans to interview him...thus proving a point....but have no intention of actually appointing him....Fingers crossed.

I'd like to think so.

What point would that be though?

Maybe they're interviewing him because they think he's in the Moyes/Huges/MON mould but is also actually up for the job unlike the others.

How do you know that? Have you worked with him day in day out?

Are you a fan of 4-5-1 with no or 1 winger and three dogs of war in the middle of midfield?

I voted 'anybody but'  and he hasn't got the job yet.  But if he is appointed, I agree with the posts above and will support him as Villa manager.  Taking Blues down twice?  What an agent!

WHat makes you say that?  I'm not on the wind-up  BTW.  He's always struck me as too good for the Blues and if he has the bottle to make the move we should support the bloke.  Can you imagine the absolute dogs abuse he's going to get from that lot and some of our own?  Part of leadership is surely about having the bollocks to make big decisions?

We've all seen how he led blose into the Championship. Is that leadership good enough for Aston Villa?

RL:  Bravo, you've got the job

i suppose blues cant stop us getting larsson as hes a free agent, johnson, dann and foster would be hard though , theyd ask a lot more from us than other clubs.
