What really takes the piss, is that Blues short list of Zola and di Matteo to replace AM is much more appealing than this!

At least we would get some half decent football!

I like my job and I don't want to give it up. I really enjoy going to work everyday which I don't think many people can say about their jobs but I am going to make myself available for the Villa job. If McLeish is the best they can find then I am prepared to fall on my sword, take one for the lads and become the Villa manager myself.

Too late. My goldfish applied this afternoon.

I'm happy it's over and I can sleep!

I wanted hughes , Carlo , moyes or Benitez and mcleish wasn't on my list but it's randys choice and he's not as bad as some portray- I really wish him well and hope we can all unite behind the team and hopefully have good times ahead.

You,re a frickin nose in diguise, there aint a claret and blue bone in your body.

Uncalled for. Please do not continue in this vein.

GH - Becoming DOF?

If Houllier was becoming our DOF do you think he would be advising the club to employ a hoof ball donkey cock like McLeish? The two managers couldn't be further afield in their philosophies, this is why the "Shared vision of the club" statement makes no sense at all.

exactly

Maybe they are prepared to go against the fans to interview him...thus proving a point....but have no intention of actually appointing him....Fingers crossed.

If McCleish is willing to step into the fire, it shows what kind of strength he possesses. I will continue my support for the club regardless.

A very good point indeed.  He's showing massive bottle moving to us.

Yet people were moaning about GH's style continuously, and the majority wanted a return to defensive stability.
