I have always supported Randy and the way we did thing's but this is nothing short of a kick in the balls for us fan's.The simplified concept that we don't want him because he is ex blues is quite honestly condesending in the extreme. If he had won the cup with them ,if they had finished above us consitantly I would have no problem stealing him from them..the fact his the cup victory seems to be clouding their judgement.

I guess if he is appointed then I will back him but I give him 6 months untill his position is seriously under fire and then what for Randy.2 failed managerial appointments and again Sponsership issues who the hell is advising him.I think he wants us to be a big club but if he neither has the cash or the skill to move us forward then he should go I don't doubt for a second he could get a buyer.

McLaren sounds like Mourinho!  Seriously, more ex professionals have said more positives about Mclaren that Eck!  This cant happen.  Lets hope the board have a change of heart tomorrow after the interview.

Here's what doesn't make sense about this whole 'sharing our vision' thing. The two people that the club have confirmed they wanted to speak to, Martinez and McLeish, couldn't have a more different footballing philosophy. Their only common link is that they both managed teams that either did get relegated or who were a whisker away from it last season.

So what's this vision then? Finding someone who's grateful about being given the job, and not kicking up too much fuss over small transfer budgets or not minding managing a team without much ambition that knocks around the lower third of the table?

If the McLeish appointment transpires, it is really disappointing, and for reasons that have nothing to do with his Blues link.

If We don't go for McLeish what other top manager would want to work with a board that have made such a complete bloody mess of this whole process?

I'm so annoyed.

My feelings for what they are worth

McLeish would not be my ideal choice, however

It does look like he will now be the Villa manager

I support the club, not any individual within the club

If they wear the famous claret and blue they get my support

Get behind the club, get behind Mcleish

UTV SOTC

This.
