No hint of a lie, someone just this second has come to ask if I would like to request any prayers at the local church for a service coming up.  I can think of one actually...

Have we ever had a more unanimous poll?

It blows to smithereens Murphy’s comments about McLarren not joining due to fan pressure. We all despise the useless ****** and he hasn’t even had the opportunity to bore us to death yet.

It is going to happen isn't it. Anyone got any positives?

He's brilliant at organising a defence.

We've got the best goal-scorer in the country, Albrighton who offers adventure down one side and N'Zogbia is available who McLeish rates.

Apart from that? Nothing.
Come on keep them coming, you must have some more positive spins up your sleeve.

Randy has just spent £30m on players in January, would he really choose a mug like McLeish to look after them?

I've far more faith in the fella.

thank fook he had already signed Marlon King for  Blose before he would have signed him for us ...

There is of course the possibility that WM filtered the calls to give the impression that Villa fans would take big Feck

As if any media outlet would be that duplicitous.

I'd imagine the worst thing a local news outlet could do would be to admit the honest truth that they haven't got a clue, far better to take a gamble on going all guns blazing at a story with just a hint of possibility. Most have them have hung their hats on exclusive stories that haven't happened and we've all forgot about a few short days later.

Please don't let your dislike of mcleish spoil your love of our club- Aston villa are the reason I go for , not o neill, mcleish or whoever- whatever people may or may not think of him let's all get behind Aston villa on the pitch and see where we go.

Every single day is bad news with Villa. The PR is really poor.

I think it's about time the board put away their ego of ignoring the outside world and reassure the fans because it's going on far enough.

So someone who works for the Villa in a low-ish position emails the local rivals saying we could talk to their manager and have him for free if we wanted to.. sounds like someone at our club just felt like winding the neighbours up.

The McLeish thing is an obvious big story for the press so they will all push it without the bother of finding out anything true!
We're just getting all the shit we don't want to hear.
Don't worry Paul, it can't happen.
Mysteryman will bring tidings of comfort and joy soon!

MM said earlier today, that we definitely werent interested in McCleish. So make of it what you will. I've got a horrible feeling he's wrong.

If you think about it McCleash must be very confident in himself. His biggest task would be to win the fans over very, very quick. Most managers are under pressure but not before a ball is kicked.
