I reckon it's Rastamouse, bringing in the Eazy Crew as assistants, maybe President Wensley Dale as DOF and Bagga T looking after the kids.

Moyes doesn't equate with meltdown for me.

rafa has not turned us down, meeting was set for tomorrow for face to face meeting but villa have cancelled and decided to look elsewhere following preliminary discussions through rafa's representatives. Villa's choice not his.

So McClaren and Benitez both had meetings cancelled. Wonder what the board will do instead? Alton Towers I reckon.

Why?  Drayton Manor is right across the road.

Maybe the board aren't into Zoos?
the zoo there is really good though. its like theyve hand picked all the best animals for a zoo and left out all the boring ones. a fascinating collection of owls too

MYSERYMAN; PM me your gut feeling of who you think it is and I will deliver £200 in used notes to a location of your choice. No questions asked, I just have faith in your sources.

Discretion assured and we both make a few quid if you're correct.

If you are wrong I will give you £25 for your efforts anyway.

 ;)

He's phoned in sick today, said he's had a Chinese last night and might have eaten some dodgy beansprouts.

I've my final exam of year 2 tomorrow, I've not had much chance to check.

No Rafa? Whats happened in the last 3 hours??

Sky say he's not interested as we have no cash.

Cheers. Ouch.

Difficult to believe though. Remember Gary Mac, Houlliers and Auclairs' comments on the high calibre and exciting players we were after this summer. Plus when has Randy never backed his manager.

Exciting doesn't mean expensive, but fair point.

True but the type that would encourage Young to stay. I think we will spend big money when we have a new manager. Wage bill has dropped, last window before fair play comes in and we will have a new manager.

I would be suprised if it was less that £35m.

Well, I was queuing up for a flight at Gatwick Airport today, and one of the passengers on one of the planes was called Mark Hughes.  Make of that what you will.

Have to hand it to Randy - he gives nothing away.
Having said that, the bookies must be loving this - by last count I've punted on 43 candidates already.
I must confess though, while I'm not sure they're the best choices for the Villa, if either Silvio Berlusconui of Jimmy Cranky gets the nod, I'll be up a fiver.
