Someone on here mentioned Martin Laursen earlier on.  Randy surely wouldn't would he?  Maybe in a few years time or as a number two to someone else perhaps but not yet.

Van Gaal or Ancelotti please.

rafa has not turned us down, meeting was set for tomorrow for face to face meeting but villa have cancelled and decided to look elsewhere following preliminary discussions through rafa's representatives. Villa's choice not his.

So McClaren and Benitez both had meetings cancelled. Wonder what the board will do instead? Alton Towers I reckon.

Martinez…. Anyone see any positives to appointing him considering who’s ‘potentially’ available at the moment? Or put another way, would anyone not be disappointed to hear he’s who we’ve got?

''What you talkin about Willis???

First post...you ITK or are you Martinez???

come on which is it?

Why?  Drayton Manor is right across the road.

I thought they were in That London.

They should go on one of those open top bus tours. Randy is from America, so he's probably never been to London before.

True but they can go there any time. I think with a free day they'll fancy a day out before the schools break up and it gets too busy.

To be fair most journalists proved in January that they know absolutely bugger all about what's going on with Villa at the best of times, so it's hard for me to take any of them seriously.

Wah wah, Villa have no money. *buys Darren Bent*

He lacks experience but has the potential to create something better than he has if he has a bigger club/budget etc. He would have to be part of a long term plan/investment. Unless it all went tits up in 6 months!
There are "better" guys around but they all bring baggage.
