I use Clearbooks every day, a similar program to Quickbooks. I had to attend Accountex exhibition a few weeks ago and the West Brom mascot was doing keepy-uppies at the Quickbooks stand.

*winces*

that sounds awful

Can he play left back?

Ha...some of it was, between people trying to sell you every finance management-related products under the sun and the ''talks'' we were obliged to attend. I fell asleep at one of the afternoon ones about how retaining customers and upselling to them is more efficient than getting new ones. I was in the second row dozing but thankfully I wasn't the only one as the speaker mentioned something at the end about how most of us had missed his sage (geddit?) advice due to nodding-off.

I thought the Quickbooks sponsor was one of those firms that left kids books at schools, doctors surgerys etc in the hope that someone would buy them.

Nothing wrong with Quickbooks, used by tons of small businesses in the US including the chemical engineering firm I was formerly employed at. A household name there. Quit complaining already, sheesh we've got bigger fish to fry. It's better than crooked betting conglomerates with Asian characters postered on the front of the shirt.
