Mail says £3m for a two year deal which I assume means £1.5m pa. which just seems incredibly small to me.

It's probably the mail putting a negative spin on the deal *shock horror*. Were it to be true it would be a smaller deal than Hull City had last season, so either it's bullshit or this Wijeratna bloke is fucking cack at his job.
Or our stock is very low having being mostly shit the last 5 years and finishing 17th a few weeks ago.

And Hull are a tiny place compared to here, sell less shirts, have less of a fan base, have less history and name and yo yo between divisions.

We are the top club in the countries second City, have been ever presents in the ''Premier League'' have an average attendance of 35,000 and according to Tom Fox are something like the 7th most watched team in the world? If taking all that in to account Hull City got a better deal than we did than I can see exactly why Spurs sacked off this Wijeratna bloke.

All assuming the mail is correct which is a massive assumption.

Fair point.

What was the point of signing up for a two-year deal? New owners could probably have landed us something more lucrative next summer.

What new owners?

The exclusivity deal could be with the American consortium and as Intuit is an American organisation perhaps this is relevant. Of course, it's probably just a coincidence  ;)

I don't think you can plan you financial strategy on the basis that someone might buy the club.

Huh?!

Quote
The two-year deal is thought to be worth in excess of £5m and is significantly improved on the previous arrangement with Dafabet.

West Brom were sponsored by the company last season in a deal that saw them net £1.5 million - but Villa's return will be much greater.

Sounds better. Is that more than £5m p/a? or over the 2 years?

I would have preferred the Baffin Island Escort Agency "Inuit QuickFucks".

My favourite post ever.
They have 46 words for "spank me!" you know.

Quickbooks is horrible software, awful to use and even worse than Sage if such a thing is possible.

I use Clearbooks every day, a similar program to Quickbooks. I had to attend Accountex exhibition a few weeks ago and the West Brom mascot was doing keepy-uppies at the Quickbooks stand.

I hope they give you that horrible fvcking mascot that has been an utter stain on match-days.

As mascots go it was absolutely horrendous.

Hope they do a better job of branding on the shirts. You can't even see the logo on the Albion kit.
