He is an ambassador to the club and i am sure he would be letting Lerner/Faulkner know that Maclaren would be seen as a "nightmare" choice to our fans despite some success with Twente. He surely now realises that the fans acceptance of a manager is crucial and the polls and opinions show that Ancellotti is overwhelmingly the man we want ........
