Don't understand the criticism for Delph. My university mates, a mixture of United/Arsenal and Liverpool fans, were raving about him. I thought he had a solid game, with the odd ridiculous tackle mixed in with the odd world class 50 yard pass.

Darren Bent is ace. Everyone played well, great result! I hope we can buy Walker somehow, or at least get him on loan again.

You also have to bear in mind the guy hasn't played for ages and then suddenly gets dropped into Arsenal away against one of the best midfields going...

Could today have gone any better? Only with the addition of Pippa Middleton and a jar of Nutella when I got home.

Love it!

Exactly. I remember him disposessing somebody, playing a lovely one two with Downing and then bombing after 80+ mins as well. There is a real player in there, I think next season will be his year!

Thought considering he has hardly played and was playing a decent Arsenal side that he looked pretty good. The old cliche about a good preseason behind him and all that and could be our "different" midfielder in the middle. Makoun, NRC, Delph.

By the way did anyone else hear them say NRC has never lost vs Arsenal? surely not...remarkable if true.

Great first-half performance, we were a bit sloppy second-half but brave defending earned us the win. VERY HAPPY WITH TODAY.  Well deserved win for us, would have been better if Sky could of muted all the moany Arsenal supporters.

I enjoyed listening to them. Makes a change to hear the groans rather than be part of them.

I would think so.

Oh and I would also like to point out the tactics put out by the man in charge were spot on. Counter-attacking at it's finest haha.

I think he has only played against them 7 times now with us and the kit stealers so that could be some of it. Although he is the best type of player against them, someone who spoils their rhythm and gets the foot in when required. Did well the second half after being booked to still be effective.

As for Delph, the criticism was when he was attacking even before we were under pressure. Easy balls misplaced or dwelling too long. But defensively he was really good apart from the stupid attempt at a tackle which gave them a FK chance when the play was going away from the box and he had no chance of winning the ball. But when we started to get breaks out in the 80th minute onwards his stamina meant he could break as well.

I thought Delph did pretty well given how long he's been out.
