Mine has gone from 550 - 580.

If you can accept that football finances and prices are ridiculously out of touch with what most of us call reality, and resign yourself to it, then our prices are very reasonable.

Ticket prices are absurd, but it isn't Villa where the problem lies, it is the industry as a whole.

mine has gone up from £450 to £480 that is an increase of 9% - I was reading yesterday that Utd fans where disgusted to be paying an additional £1.00 per game - my seat at the Villa has just increased by £1.58 per game

If your council tax went up by 9% then you would be going mad with rage.

Therefore after reading all the nice add ons that the club are giving then it is a NO to renewing for me i could not care less about stickers, pin badges, and propaganda TV etc!!!

Fed up of stupid kick off times, silly salaries to the players who could not care less!

Enough is enough after 20+ years of being a season ticket holder I will go to the games where the offers are on, or just go down the local to watch them on the TV.

Stupid question, but is Witton Lane Upper (P6) going to be £580 for an adult? I ask because it says up to £790 when I hover the mouse over P6.

Visited VP this morning to exchange some Wigan tks and there was only ONE member of staff
behind the counter, and when I enquired about pricing for next season she broke the news of
a £30 increase (L6 Lower Holte) but then smiled and told me I'd be able to see AVTV for free !!

Rather see a different manager to be honest and defenders who defend and wingers who stay
on their feet and cross to someone who can and will score goals.......mini rant over

Can't think of more than a couple of home matches I have really enjoyed, one of those was
when KMac was in charge -

Yes you guessed despite what I say now the club will get my pension money

free AVTV what a piss take I have that already and have only used it 1 - 2 times in the past 2 seasons, so i would have cancelled it so I get nothing, How about throwing in something useful like buy a season ticket and get the new shirt for half price, As a good will gesture from messing us around with this seasons shirt.

I have a season ticket in the Upper Holte. If (when) I renew do I have to do it by 14th June or will my seat still be available until 14th July?

i'm guessing the date is from when you can renew and you have until 14th july until your seat goes on general sale
might be completeley wrong tho

That always confuses me too but according to SOTC they allocate different dates for the different stands to make it easier for the ticket office to deal with (which I suppose makes sense). Your seat will not be released for general sale until after the renewal deadline day of 14th July.
Oi - don't quote me - I'm only guessing!!

However, DK, we're still cheaper than most but expected to compete with clubs who bring in far more through ticket sales.

We are never going to compete financially with those clubs who bring in far more through ticket sales. ManU or Arsenal put up ticket prices knowing that if a season ticket holder doesn't renew, then there's a waiting list of fans to take their place.
Villa put up prices and less people will buy season tickets next season - then the 'spare' tickets are sold off with cheap offers just to bump the attendance back up.
After a season in which we have once again thrown away our European place, and pulled out of the FA Cup, even the draw of buying a season ticket to guarantee a cup final ticket is now an empty offer.
Another arguement for buying a season ticket has always been that it takes away the hassle of buying a ticket each game - but with the online services nowadays, getting hold of a match ticket is no problem - not like when you had to physically get down to the Ticket Office.

I believe that by putting up prices yet again our average gates will drop again, so will the overall ticket income end up being that much greater? ... particularly when you take into account the amount of money that is spent in advertising and marketing campaigns to try and sell the empty seats off cheap.

What about Spurs, Everton, Sunderland etc?

As Paulie says above, prices for football in this country are ridiculously high but within that ours are among the best.
