As an over 65 in the Lower Holte I can't complain about the increase from £210 to £240 and in any case, as Dave Clark Five and others have said, there's more to the matchday experience - fortunately - than just the 90 minutes in the middle of the day.

I was considering the interest-free payment spread over 4 months, but I see that this is no longer handled by the club but by Zebra Finance, who "whether or not your application is accepted may send you information about products of ours that may be of interest to you and may pass your details on to other companies." Zebra also search your record at credit reference agencies and the details of their search may be passed on to other search agencies. Perhaps this is standard procedure whenever you take out credit but I find this a less appealing option than just signing a direct debit agreement with Villa, which is what I did last season.

I could do it in one blast but was contemplating the four payments idea.

Last year it was May, but that was when the club ran it. It may be different with Zebra.

You've got until the middle of June to apply so it'll be June at the earliest.
