We need 290 to win - Can't see us getting that on a day 4 pitch, after it's been raining all morning and is cloudy.

We'd have to try and race along. Might be best to play for the draw, like you say Richard.

Must be raining again in Lancashire. They've gone to lunch and with only 2 balls bowled of the over.

The Bears seem to be going for it, Carter is in straight away.

Aye, we're going for it like a 40 over match, Carter pinch hitting.
58-0 after 11 overs.

Yeah, I think that's that now, but a draw is okay.

They must have hotwired the stolen cars around the pitch and switched the headlamps on. They're back out playing and we're 86-1. We need 204 off just under 50 overs which is gettable but unlikely. The loss of more than 25 overs on the last day will hit us.

God i hate teams from Old Trafford, i was surprised to read today that Warwickshire have not beat Lancashshire  this century, the last victory coming in 1999.We wont win this one that is for sure.Like bigad82 says,we need rain.

We haven't got enough time to win this game - can only lose it from here really, so rain/bad light would be most welcome.

26 overs to go and according to the on-line commentary the weather is looking ropey compared with 30 minutes ago.
