My fault - I am up in the Wirral and wanted to pop along to watch the match.

Yep - the one day I am actually up in the area to see the Bears play and it pisses down!

I'm cursed never to see a cricket match be played on English soil!

Well it's not raining now - Lancashire 131/6  :D

Hopefully we can win the game and they can get points deducted for a dodgy pitch....

156 - 8

Carter has 4 for 10. He's on a hat trick with the 1st ball of his next over.

189 all out - 6 wickets for Carter.

That means that they didn't get any batting points either - hopefully the pitch isn't too bad to bat on now.

I wonder what Chanderpaul makes of it all? Jeetan Patel selected ahead of him and sends down just 6 deliveries

Still raining in the wirral!  I long for my balmy summer evenings back in Costa Del Walsall!

What's the weather forecast for Lancashire? I'm assuming it's raining, which suit neither Lancashire or us. If there is play today, it could be a win, loss, or draw.

A draw will be ok - we will gain 2 points on Lancs - as long as Durham don't win, so part of me is hoping for rain tbh
