Now six runs required for Durham. I wish we hadn't bothered getting them out yesterday. They would probably have got to 600 before declaring and we would have had only about a session to survive to get a tedious draw.

Just back from Edgbaston where we made hard work of defeating the Foxes.......Bowling was very average and the 17 year old spinner looks like a good prospect. James Taylor for them played very well and looks quality. Our batting did well with everyone contributing. The new pavilion looks very good

Good win for the Pears yesterday, the first of the season. In the previous 3 games we've lost from promising positions but this time we kept our nerve. Wish Villa could do the same.
