 nico2708: what about
Capello
van gaal
hiddink

Moorski: No chance of any of them 3 coming to Villa.
------------------

And yet Malaga FC appointed Pellegrini a few weeks after we appointed Houllier. I'm not sure I understand why Villa shouldn't be able to attract a much better manager than the ones in the poll.

I know he has just signed a new deal with the FA but Pearce seems to do a good job with the U21's - we have good young players. He is passionate. Seems a good combo

His club managerial career has been disastrous so far though. He took Forest down and was the worst manager Man City have had for a long time. And they've had plenty of shit managers to choose from at Man City.

Although he might come in handy if a fuse blows in the dressing room at half time or the training ground needs re-wiring

If we have to go down this route how about a klinnsmann and Poyet double act?
I think the vision klinnsmann introduced whilst the Germany manager is in line with Randy's long term strategy and crucially exactly what Villa need.

On the flip side I doubt Klinnsmann would want to be here - on the training pitch - 100% of the time so an able and enthusiastic deputy would be required. If klinnsmann played with Poyet (?? At spurs ??) then that would be a good match. Alternatively I think Southgate's studios manner would compliment Klinnsmann's enthusiasm.

Who in God's name has voted for Houllier?  Haven't we learned already that the man is totally and utterly inept?  I'm stunned he's got one vote.

It's beyond belief. All I can think is he's worn a few people down

So you log onto a message board, and people have different opinions. It's amazing.

If we stay up I would like to see Houllier get rid of the overrated and overpaid dickheads and continue to build a new squad.
If we go down, then he should be hung, drawn and quartered.

For what its worth JD , I,m with you on this . According to this mornings Daily Heil 8 of our Senior pro,s  , the afore mentioned " overated and overpaid dickheads " and we know who they are  , want out in the Summer . Gabby apart , I would,nt miss any of them so good riddance , no one is bigger than the Club , no one !................................... Godzvilla

Sun reporting Rafa Benitez.

What a joke, he won CL then messed up all the good work Houllier had done.

Who is on this list of 8? I really would like us to keep Gabby, I hope he is not on it. I thought the other day he wanted to stay here for life, if possible?

Brad Friedel: "There has been a set of rules here for as long as I have been at the club, as there is at every club and probably most, if not all, work environments. The suggestion that I am in revolt - or any player is in revolt - over new rules is laughable. There are no new rules of any substance that I am aware of and the vast majority of what is in the rule book is something which was agreed years ago in conjunction with the PFA in any case. Supporters need to know there is nothing in this story. I`m committed to the club and our objectives and I`ve trained all week along with my team-mates who are not involved in internationals. The focus has been on getting ready for a big game against Everton and this is what we`re concentrated on."

Benitez being linked gives me the same feeling that I had when Houlliers name first cropped up.

And it wasn't a positive one.

So in one breath you're saying it's bollocks, yet in the other you're saying that Friedel is only saying it to avoid a fine?

You are a fucking troll.
