Coyle, followed by erm... Houllier for the identical reasons to citizen DJ. If we stop up, then he has a summer to sort through the issues and make it his own. If still struggling next season then get shot at Christmas but he kinda deserves the shot for all he has had to put up with.

I think Oakey will be looking to get his career back on track. He will bring a fresh perspective and the ability to play keyboard with both hands.

Where's Hilts when you need him.

I'm sure he could make a lengthy, detailed and in no way unrealistic argument as to why Mournho would be only too keen to take the job - even now.

Coyle, as long as he can get rid of the irritating habit of mentioning 'Barclays Premier League' in every interview.

Moyes. He's done with Everton what MON did with us, but with less money available to him. Maybe he could succeed where MON just missed out?

However, I also believe that Everton fans see Moyes the way Villa fans saw MON. The media love Moyes, but there are Everton fans who don't like the football they play...sound familair?

In no particular order, my shortlist:

Houllier with Patrice Bergues
Owen Coyle
Martin Jol/Houghton
Carlos Queiroz

The sponsors would love him though.

Houllier. Simply because it would mean we've stayed up.

I think plenty would vote for KMac as caretaker for 8 games but not as a long term choice which would make the ask unfair on KMac

Moyes would not come here

Why not ?

Unless Everton find a buyer, he really has taken them as far as he can, ManUre will be looking for European experience, so we are a very attractive proposition for Moyes.
