I think plenty would vote for KMac as caretaker for 8 games but not as a long term choice which would make the ask unfair on KMac

Probably correct. Apologies. My mind was wandering after a dull day at work and a few glasses of cider.

Coyle, as long as he can get rid of the irritating habit of mentioning 'Barclays Premier League' in every interview.
Better that than Barclays Premiership, which it hasn't actually been called since 2007.

Interesting viewpoint

It is, and one that I broadly agree with, really. Cheers for that.

Billy Davies.   Sparky bastard.   Ambitious.   Shortly out of contract.

Might be a good shot.

The only problem is that I'm too busy to spend my time translating his press conferences for the people on here.

Two Forest fans I know would drive him down here themselves, they can't stand the bloke. He's a yob who alienates people and he'd either be a roaring success or out on his ear in 3 months. Not sure we can afford the risk.

Yes, isn't it disgraceful that people have differing opinions.

Although he does raise some interesting views, I largely disagree.

Prime example is Dunne and 'not liking Houllier'.  So what?  Sheringham and Cole spent years playing very well together at Man Utd, but would never say a word to each other off the pitch.  OK, the Fergie factor obviously comes into play, but crucially they respected each other as players.  If Dunne doesn't like his manager that does not stop him from playing well and following his lead if he respects him and buys into what he's doing.

I saw no sign of the dressing room unrest he mentions, although there were obviously favourites and those on the outside looking in.  The reason being that all the players knew who was boss and wouldn't dare cross him.  What Houllier lacks most crucially is that strong man management ability.
