That's exactly what I said Peter, getting on houllier's back at this stage seems pointless and can only have a negative affect on the team. That said I paid £38 today and I'd rather have given it to a tramp..What a waste of fucking money

We've got eight games to get, what, ten points, to ensure safety? Houllier does not fill me, or, apparently the majority of Villa fans in VP today, with confidence in his ability to fashion a team able to achieve this.
That is why the banner was there, that is why fans were chanting for Houllier's removal, that is why this forum overwhelmingly is critical of Houllier and his tactics.
This isn't an ideal time to jettison a manager, but if he stays, and we go down, it doesn't bear thinking about.

Walker's a kid too.
And Baker. That's 6 out of 13 that appeared today.  I know Pires skews the average age of the team somewhat...

If he goes, we will go down. The team won't sustain any more instability this season

i live in the black country and the same wolves fans that called for mcartheys head are the ones singing his praises now and he is the one to keep them up!

i am too annoyed at the lack of support of the team whilst they are on the pitch  as you who booed all the way through make us look like treacherous wankers!

i have always and always will give my full support to the boys wearing the claret and blue shirts and there was a contingent at the game today who didnt!
Less of these !! and more of These II and I might start taking you seriously.
thanks for your pedantic note, whether i am writing with capitals or using abbreviations has feck all tho do with any discussion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not a discussion, you are telling people how to feel.Have you answered the question about being at the game yet?
We're talking about a banner, whether he was at the game is irrelevant.  Although I was at the game, and the atmosphere today was poisonous, and we've seen worse performances this season, so maybe it did have a negative effect
Edited post.
was your grammar not up to standard?

and what question was that about being at the game? i am a season ticket holder and regular away follower!
i have not told anyone how to feel, i have given my opinion of what i saw as an inopurtune moment to voice their opinion! you have given me some abuse of my grammar in the text which i call slightly pedantic.
i support the boys on the pitch and the support of them today was shit! Say what you like about the current incumbent but the previous left us deep in the cack with someone needing to get us out.
the quicker most on here who are booing and not supporting realise that he is here for the considerable future start supporting instead of undermining the team the better we will be!
my mates who came to the game today from wolves laughed at the response we gave the team!
i am embarrased by some of the behaviour!
'Treacherous wankers' is what you have called fans who have booed today, and you still think you are still not telling people how to feel?

Mods, can you please consider amending the thread title. Why call the guy "a twat" he's fully entitled to his opinion and I think a lot of Villa fans would echo his sentiments

I'm only looking at recent history, like Nwcastle and Hull.  I want him gone as well, I also don't want to watch us play grimsby next year, and I think we've left it too late to do anything about it.  We should have got Jol in January, but we didn't

The atmosphere today was terrible, considering the importance of the game and with a local rival. Maybe the Citeh fiasco had something to do with the way the supporters acted.
I have no problem with the reaction of the fans around the substitutions and the end of the game, we were abysmal today and our Manager fiddled when Rome was burning.
