Pires has play'd better than some i.e Albrighton but i'd prefer if he went off and Heskey came on.

Albrighton needs to go back to the reserves.  Young should have scored that rebound and Bent is looking no better at finishing than Heskey, Carew or Gabby.

Positive stuff.

Well no it's not but I see no need to put a positive spin on an accurate reflection of events.

What about where we were really good for the last 15 mins and Pires playing well? That is part of the accurate reflection of events.

Darren Bent is very, very good at doing that thumbs up thing to players to say what a good pass they just did that he hopelessly miscontolled or missed completely. Not sure it's £24 million worth of thiumbs though.

That was a bloody rubbish 45 minutes.

Pires is playing well and we have been in control (sort of) for much of the half.  That makes it more frustrating that we have failed to score though, but yes there are some good things, however, in a relegaiton scrap I can only see what we should be doing better as being relevant.  Particularly at 0-0.

that's the thing with him 'he does nothing unless he scores'
if he put ALL his chances away he would be the record goalscorer of all time

you've got to be in the right position to miss sitters

I was thinking the exact same thing it's really annoying. He's had a really poor 1st half!

Poor game for 25 minutes but since then we have bossed it. We are all over them! They haven't had a shot on target and we should have had a few. We have had all the possession and it is coming.
