That's another frustrating 45 under Houllier's belt.

Pires is our best player, so far. Bent should have scored towards the end of the half. It has to improve. We need three points today.

Thing with Bent is, he'll score 20 goals, but every season it should have been 40.

I think Pires has done very well, as epitomised when he was hacked down on the way through at the end. We are much the better side.

Pires has been our best player by some margin.   He is slow as fuck but he is a bloody good player.

We had them on the rack for the last 10-15 minutes. We should be well ahead. Hopefully we can keep it up in the 2nd half.
Old man Bob is growing into the game.

Albrighton needs to go back to the reserves.  Young should have scored that rebound and Bent is looking no better at finishing than Heskey, Carew or Gabby.

Harsh, but unfortunately, it seems that way.....he has been very poor in the 2nd half of the season.

Bent cannot check back into the defender when he is clear on goal - just bl**dy shoot (great pass by their player)!

We should be 4 up
Pires has come into the game and is looking as good
we must score 2 in this game or Blackburn will feel that 1 set piece will be enough

Well no it's not but I see no need to put a positive spin on an accurate reflection of events.
