Well there goes Trott for 52.

I can't see us getting passed 180 at all.

I think regardless of what happens for the rest of the World Cup serious questions need to be asked about the way we prepared for it (much like after the Ashes defeat in 06/07). We played too many games in a short space of time over in Australia and you can see that the likes of Strauss, Pietersen etc are knackered both physically and mentally.

We started down the route of one day teams/5 day teams. Not sure how/if, they decided it was a bad thing, but most of our one day players are also test players.

Most countries though have a core of players that play all forms of the game, but the fact that we played 5 test matches in a 6 week period, followed quickly by 2 T20s and 7 ODIs in a 4 week period won't have helped at all. Add to that the travelling we've had to do (Eng-Aus-Eng-Ind) and that is a lot.

Bopara showed why he should have been playing all along. So if we beat West Indies and Bangladesh do we go through? I agree with the point above, our preparation has been ridiculous.

80 for 2, two newish batsmen at the crease, including AB De Villiers, the cheat. We need quick wickets!

Fair play to Kallis there - asking Prior if it carried and when he said yes it had Kallis walked.

Yeah I  thought he'd edged it at first, and wondered why they didn't appeal.

I said as the ball went through that DV had nicked it, that's how loud the noise was.

We've bowled really well today.

Just watched to slow motion of that Anderson ball - as the players celebrated KP is walking over looking like a right sad fucker, whilst everyone else is cheering.
