Haven't seen it but the team changes don't sound silly based on previous matches and todays scorecard.

I fell asleep about 30 overs in to the Irish innings, waking up briefly to see the scorecard. When I got woken up to watch the match a couple of hours later I went downstairs and said that I'd just had a weird dream where Ireland actually won. Oh.

Well the umpires are hardly covering themselves in glory in this Pakistan v Canada match - 4 successful reviews from the teams already in this Canada innings (one of the ones given not out is the plummest of LBW decisions you'll ever see!)

Two close games today -

New Zealand have beaten Zimbabwe by 10 wickets, and Windies have bowled Bangladesh out for 58!

It's only England who can't thrash the crap teams.

Only the England games (and maybe Pakistan-Sri Lanka) haven't been completely boring.

Hopefully it'll be a lot more exciting by the Quarter-Final stage.

The desperately poor performances by our bowlers and fielders have really been highlighted by the other hammerings that are getting dished out.

As did the England bowlers and fielders!

7 balls in and Sri Lanka v Australia is looking tasty already. I think I'm going to enjoy this!

Tait won that battle though.

I agree, I think this has the makings to be a very good match.

Not a great run rate at the moment but Sangakarra still there and wickets in hand.

And it's raining.

KP, Swann, Collingwood may be out. First two, bad news. On Collingwood, can we replace him with Morgan?!

After a terrible start against south africa (3-2 at one stage) Trott and Bopara are trying to construct an innings to defend.

88-3 at present in the 24th over. 3.7 runs per over.

Switched on just as they were reviewing the (not out) run out of Bopara. We really need these pair to put on a 150+ partnership.
