There's still plenty of time left to get players in, we're just going to have to be patient. It could be that deals are done and we're waiting for the selling club to get replacements in. Surely AM needs pre-season to start before he makes big changes, gets a proper feel for the players.

Ok, he knows he needs a keeper and that may well happen soon.

And he knows Ash has gone.  From scouting and DVDs, he'll know of MA's potential but with SD unsettled as well, a winger is another dead cert.  He almost signed N'Zogbia so he might move on that too.

Otherwise, though, he needs to see and talk to the squad.  SD, RD, SI, SW, JC, CC... he needs to know where they are at and which of the young guys are ready to step up.  Like it or not, most of our action will come later in the window, possibly even in January.
