None of us woild have picked mcleish as first choice but I certainly wouldn't have said he's shit - there are many I'd choose ahead of him but equally many more far worse and we have to accept that for whatever reason we are not going to attract the very best managers to our club.

Alex is our manager now and it saddens me that some seem to be almost wishing him to fail just to prove a point - he deserves a chance before people get on his back, and if he fails then by all means have a go but this apathy towards him is very disappointing.

I'm well aware that he's our Manager and I want him to succeed, but the fact remains that his record is pretty sub-standard and the original point was that Scottish football is of a shit standard.

in other news it was reported over the weekend that Marlon King wants to team up with Marlon Harewood at the Villa. Harewood has been sounded out by AM for a sensational return to the number 9 shirt he will occupy once Ireland moves to Newcastle. King has called McLeish saying he only signed at the scumbags because of him, and now wants to join us. He feels he can add value to the AVFC brand across Britains numerous prisons and penitentiaries. This all comes in light of the fact that Darren Bent is unsettled at his supply chain being disrupted and will sign for Chelsea for 13 million, dropping to 6 million based on goals scored.
