whatever we get for Ash should be used to bring Jimmy home.

He isn't happy at Citeh, judging by his reaction to being substituted at liverpool tonight. He was not happy, and walked off with a face like thunder shaking his head in disgust.
Shame to see such a great talent being wasted. Come back Jimmy

Milner could still play in the champions league next year. No way will he want to come back to Villa park. Oh plus he is on near 100k a week .......

I think Milner is the type of bloke that needs to be playing though despite the money.

He will obviously be paid millions wherever he goes but I don't think he's the sort to want to hang around only for a bit part role on the bench at Citeh.

Unless they get rid of Mancini in the Summer he'll be off I think.  'The Mighty Reds YNWA' will be in for him I reckon, possibly with Barry too and ofcourse our Ash.

I'd love to see him back here though.  We've really missed him this season.

Re Milner: his mobility would really compliment Makoun too. A midfield three of those two plus Delph would be potentially awesome. With three players mixing it up front. Milner and makoun might work in a two too.

Surely it's worth a try. I thought he was the future of England's midfield whilst with us but now he looks half the player - if that.

Most disappointing waste of a footballer I can remember. I was truly emotional when he left the field to a deserved standing ovation on the opening day. He was awesome that day. If only he had stayed. Genuinely think we would be 10 points better off, all our struggles has come from our central midfield being so weak much of the season.

Bring him back. Play him regularly in the right position. Regular in the England midfield again.

Would love to see Milner back.  I don't think he's at all happy at Citeh - being hauled off after an hour last night being a case in point - but if and when he moves on I don't think it will be back to us unless there's a major change in our prospects in the early part of next season. I think he genuinely wants to win things rather than just pad out his bank balance and regrettably we don't look like winning anything any time soon.

id love milner back here but cant see it happening , however if there is the slightest chance we should at least make a cheeky attempt just on the off chance.

Can't see Milner coming back. Mancini could be gone if City don't get CL football soon.

I agree Milner is exactly what we need now. Getting him back would seem like a dream but you never know. He certainly knows he's loved here and if we were smart, we'd have put a first refusal clause in when we sold him.
Mancini obviously isnt his biggest fan now, plays him out of position and if/when a new manager comes in, he'll have his own hilarious piss take budget and Milner may figure even less.
However, it's no secret we're struggling and should he leave Man City there should be enough takers who are in a more favourable position currently.

But it sure would be nice if he decided to "come home". Third time lucky and all that.

Can't see him leaving Citeh just yet, an if we were to get him surely it'd be a loan 'cos they'd want the money they paid back.
