All depends if Makoun is healthy to play - if he is Albrighton's got to play.

Coker - Petrov - Makoun

Albrighton - Bent - Gabby

Looks like a nice midfield and attack.

Hope we have a go at them, and not treat them with too much respect,i think with our attacking options we can trouble them.

Think we'll play well,but lose 2-1.

At about 10pm I fear I will be waking up and smelling some coffee.

You'd be a fool to drink it at that time of night.

And eat cheese.

He will not drop young or downing.

Downing - NRC - Makoun/Petrov - Gabby

                      Young

                       Bent

That is how I think he will go but I would play Albrighton also! (instead of Downing not aswell)

Shit! Completely forgot about Young...

Damn, a dilemma then. Unfortunately it looks like Tamworth Messi will be sacrificed. Still hope he plays though.

Doesn't everyone like the fact that we are all throwing together possible teams and few of them agree with each other. Bearing in mnd people like Heskey, Bradley (did he sign in time?), Delph, Pires have hardly had a mention on the thread so far. Makes a refreshing change to genuinely have options so that we can make a selection tactically.

I think the team will be:

Friedel, Carlos, Dunne, Collins, Clark, Downing, Petrov, NRC, Gabby, Young, Bent.
I think the we should play albrighton instead of downing but otherwise I would probably agree with that.

If he's fully fit I'd play Makoun ahead of NRC, without a doubt.

Surely not a problem for a hardened newshound. He'll just loosen his tie, push back his trilby, smoke another fag and bang out the latest scoop on his typewriter.

Think Walker has to play. He gives us more momentum going forward. Also Albrighton it would take pressure off our defence and try and put them on the back foot. Hope Makoun is properly fit ....

For what its worth, I'd go..

Friedel,
Cuellar, Collins, Dunne, Clark
Albrighton, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Downing
Young
Bent

Marshall, Lichaj, Walker, Bradley or Makoun depending on who is avaliable, Bannan, Agbonlahor, Heskey.

Think I read last night that Bradley won't be picked/ready for tonight's game but could feature on Saturday.

I'd go for it!

Albrighton-NRC-Petrov-Young

............Heskey-Bent

442, attack. We have nothing to lose and Heskey has been superb this season!

NRC and Petrov in a 4-4-2? That, my friend, is no attacking system, that exists for the counter-attack. Not that I necessarily disagree with either attacking or counter-attacking, but if you want to attack, that's the wrong system.
