 the difference between what they said/did and BFR, is that i never hear the N word in normal everday conversations even in a all male pub chat,
but i hear stuff about women and the offside law and sexual inuendo all the time, mostly in jest, but nevertheless stil comon place.

 you wont have to look to far even on some  H+V threads to see sex 'banter' you know 'i would' and all that stuff, i'm guilty of it myself, so i'm not criticizing

yes they overstepped the mark, and deserved some punnishment, but for both to lose there jobs is to harsh

Sky execs have really gone up in my estimations after this. They didn't have to do it. They could have just given them a little ban for publicity but they took a very serious view on the issue. Fair play to them.

Millions of footy fans are at a loss what to do next as Gray and Keys invented football and are that the footy fan knows. They also helped inform the footy fan what team to support and what was happening during the game. The footy fan may fail to cope with GrandSlamSuperDuperSurvival Sunday matches no longer having their talisman presenting it. A sad loss to us all.

Yes if you or I made a remark about a female colleague not being able to do the job "because she's female" we'd get maybe a bollocking or at worst a written warning. But Gray and Keys are (or were!) highly paid, very high profile media figures, they had no chance of getting away with such remarks with today's media ready to pounce, and they have dragged the name of Sky through the mud as a result. Their positions were untenable.
