Judging by the reaction in 'the real world' I can tell who's out of touch and who isn't.

ha ha, yes couldn't happen to a nicer person

I think his "did you smash it" comments are just as bad as Andy Gray's ??

A couple of questions for some of the people on here.

If you had a daughter, who is attractive, and in her mid-twenties, and saw a middle-aged man sticks his hand down his trousers and say "Are you going to help me tuck this in?". Let's say it is your friend, in the pub or one of her colleague's at work. Is this flirting, or just having a laugh?

If you overheard a couple of men that you did not know saying, your wife, daughter, girlfriend should not be doing their job because they are female, and doing so with no humour or irony. Is this banter?

If the answer to either is "Yes", then you are part of the problem.

Did everyone hate these pair before all this ?

I always looked forward to Andy Gray's match stats / analysis etc., way better than BBC MOTD etc.

Kelly Dalglish: "Phew, I'm exhausted. Just been reading about something called the offside rule."

Dour King Kenny's offspring having a sense of humour? whodafunk it.
Kenny's line to the Sky Sports reported was quality as well. Linky

On BBC Breakfast this morning the comment was made along the lines of "well he is from that generation who it shouldnt be surprising holds such attitudes".
Well Im sorry I am a similar age to Andy Gray, and I thought I was part of a generation where I would hope myself and generally most of my male friends of the same age are at least a little more enlightened.

Never really on my radar, as I only see Sky in the pub, so can't hear what they are saying. Same as commentators, I can happily watch a stream with the volume down.

To be honest Id rather watch hansen and shearer than gray and keys anyday- never rated keys on breakfast tv and his hatred ov villa is thinly disguised on sky- still there are always the pg tips adverts to fall back on.

Both are terrible, lowest common denominator analysis really. They treat the public like idiots. Also, recently I've been amazed at the amount of times that Gray has called up refereeing decisions incorrectly. He genuinely doesn't seem to have a good grasp of the laws of the game.

I've got ESPN in the apartment, and have to say that I find the analysis and general presentation infinitely better than the 2. Still miles behind the entertainment value of RTE, but still a vast improvement.

This is not really analagous. The Sky girl has made a substantial amount of money objectifying herself by posing "provocatively" in lads mags.

If that was my daughter that would actually disappoint me more than the almost inevitable reaction from some men.

I enjoyed his work but then I also liked listening to Ron Atkinson, I can't stand hairy hands though.

In the era of Sky+ I rarely hear any of the analyst talking any more, watch the match, manager's interview and that's all I need.
