I'm still not sure that anyone who has *actually listened* to the remarks between Gray and Keys could describe them as `banter'.

There was nothing jokey or lighthearted about anything they said.

you need to get out more

He's in court at the moment and I love his posts.

He might not be well liked on here, but lets not forget for 1 season he was the best Villa striker i have seen, and for that reason alone i find it hard to understand the venom thrown at him on a Villa supporters board.

His past doesn't excuse his current behaviour.

Initially I didn't think it would go this far. Then I heard the recording, and imo, Keys is worse on the recording than Andy Gray. The tone of Richard Keys voice when saying 'the charming Karren' was unbelievably patronising.

I think sacking Gray was a step too far.

I also find Sky's sudden commitment to equality at odds with much of their output.

In isolation a warning might have sufficed.

But the same kind of behaviour three times in a few weeks would push most employers to act.

Someones friendly banter, is another persons offending comment though Lizz.We have to be careful of not being offended by everything.

I can't believe any woman would be offended by the comment , come and tuck this in for me, if we are at that stage then god help us.

Karren Brady........can't say i disagree with Keys tbh.A self-promoting, self-indulgent, arrogant gobshite.I know people who have worked for her......not the brightest, and not the most pleasant.

If you can't believe how any woman could be offended by that, then I'm afraid you're part of the problem. Either that, or you're living in 1972.

Here's a picture of Charlotte definitely not encouraging any more lewd remarks and obviously also living in 1972:

There's plenty more innocent shots like this if you do a google image search

Did she look like she enjoyed being talked to like that.

I'M part of the problem paulie.......ok.

I don't look to be offended by every comment, and i don't look to offend by every comment, i make light hearted comments to people.
I think the path you are quite willing to go down means that you will be constantly curbing , and analysing our own  comments, and other peoples  comments, looking for meanings that are;nt there.

Do i like to flirt.....yes, whats the problem with that?

Newsflash - just because you don't find a remark offensive, doesn't mean other people don't find the same remark offensive.

No, the path I think we should be going down is the one where "you can tuck me in if you want to" is not acceptable chat in the work place.

What meaning is it that I'm seeing in that that isn't really there?

If the recipients of your flirting look as happy about it as the woman in the clip with Gray, then I'd say quite a lot, really.
