Amazing really in the age of 24hr news, twitter etc. The fact that Bent is in the Birmingham area makes me think that the transfer will be sewn up pretty soon, why else would he come down on the day he handed in a request?Otherwise he'd have to return to Sunderland for training with his tales between his legs.Didn't this happen with Milner for us?

There is no danger of Bent ending up either at Lpool or Chelski.Liverpool do not have the money and players at Chelski are not signed by Ancelotti and he is not big enough name for them. This is just Agent talk.
4 and a half year contract for Bent according to Mat Kendrick

Where did kendrick say this? Liverpool need severalplayers, they have other priorities than bent, can't see thembeing in for bent , john henry has said they will not invest huge money , sounds as if medical done and length of contract agreed , hope it can go through tomorrow if reports on here are correct.
